Before you book…
Clients must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed at Hometown Tattoos.
All appointments require a booking fee before being scheduled in. The amount of the booking fee will be determined by the artist based on the size of the tattoo. For tattoos that require multiple sittings, your booking fee will be carried over and applied to the cost of your final appointment.
Booking fees are non-refundable. Please give us at least 48 hours notice if you can’t make it to your appointment, otherwise your booking fee will be forfeit, and your artist will require a new booking fee to schedule another appointment for you.
Pricing varies from artist to artist, and from tattoo to tattoo. If you have a specific budget that you are working with, we can totally work with you to create an amazing design that fits within your budget.
Let us know if you have existing tattoos that we need to work around. Sending us a picture of the area where you want to put your new tattoo can help us to create a design that fits perfectly in that spot.
Reference drawings and photos are helpful in guiding us in the design of your tattoo, but keep in mind that our artists will not copy another tattoo artist’s work.
Each artist has their own unique style. Please specify which artist you are interested in booking with when you request an appointment.
…the day of your appointment
Avoid non-prescription drugs and alcohol for a couple of days before your appointment.
Come to your appointment clean and freshly showered.
Comfort is important! Wear your comfiest clothes, and bring a pillow if you plan on laying down for your tattoo.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late for your appointment may result in your artist rescheduling your appointment, and a loss of your booking fee.
Any last-minute changes to your tattoo design may be counted towards your appointment time, and will affect the final cost of your tattoo.
Make sure to eat a healthy meal before coming in. Feel free to bring snacks and something to drink during your appointment.
Children are not allowed in the tattoo shop. Please leave the kids with a babysitter!
Only one guest is allowed to accompany you to your appointment.
If you have any allergies or health concerns, please discuss them with your artist before the appointment starts.
